5th Grade Fieldtrip / 5to Año Paseo

KNOWING OUR NEIGHBORHOOD - CONOCIENDO EL BARRIO 

As part of the Integrated Program with the Italian and the Spanish Curricula, the students from 5th Grade went on a fieldtrip to know more about the school's neighborhood: Carrasco.

We shared an incredible time by visiting iconic spots of the neighborhood for example the Portones shopping mall, the Carrasco Lawn Tennis and the Airport. They learned more about these places' history and were also able to share lunch together. 

It was a great day! 

Como parte del Programa Integrado y en conjunto con las áreas de Italiano y Español, los alumnos de 5to Año tuvieron la posibilidad de ir de paseo para conocer más sobre el vecindario donde está ubicada la escuela.
Pudimos visitar lugares ícono de la zona como es el Shopping de Portones, el Carrasco Lawn Tennis y el Aeropuerto de Carrasco. Los alumnos pudieron conocer más de la historia de dichos lugares y además compartieron un rico almuerzo. ¡Fue un día estupendo!

This time students were able to go to the theater to see a play! They were really excited about it.
Students were able to get familiar with the vocabulary about the story, songs and the different characters in class so that they could enjoy this experience in the best way possible!
After the play, the actors were kind enough to say hi to our children which made this fieldtrip unforgettable. Students exchanged dialogues, played some games and even got autographs. We had an amazing time :) 

Esta vez los alumnos tuvieron la oportunidad de ir al teatro y ver una obra en Inglés! Estaban muy entusiasmados al respecto. Trabajamos en clase con el vocabulario de la historia, las canciones y además los personajes para que pudieran disfrutar de ésta experiencia al máximo! 
Al finalizar la obra, los actores tuvieron el lindo gesto de saludar a nuestros chicos, lo que hizo este paseo realmente inolvidable. Los alumnos intercambiaron diálogos, jugaron juegos y hasta se llevaron autógrafos. Pasamos un rato genial :)
